May  2019 -  Chris Barke has informed us of the death of his brother in law, Ottershaw English teacher Anthony Stowell, who died peacefully on 26th April at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, after a short illness. He taught history at Ottershaw from 1960 to 1967 and whilst there married Rosalind Barke who was at the time the biology teacher. The funeral was on Wednesday 8th May at 1.45pm at Bath Crematorium.

Chris said it almost goes without saying that if anyone from OSOBS has a memory or story about Tony Stowell that they would like to share the family he would be delighted to hear it. Any such memory would be doubly appreciated since his widow is Chris's sister who he married while she was also a teacher at Ottershaw.
