On this site, "OT" is used to refer to people from the first intake in 1948 to 1967 then "OTT" for people from 1967 to 1979, i.e. the last intake. Whilst this is not exactly how the numbers were issued OSOBS uses this convention to identify people with the same number from the early and later times of the school.

2021
News item:
In early November 2021 we received the following by email which may be of interest to members:
"I thought I might just share the following with you. Last evening we were at a regular monthly Guildford Jazz concert and on a table with an Ian Pope (and his wife). It turned out that Ian is the son of W A Pope (OT129 - 1949 entry). William, but apparently known as Wally is still living in Mayford, nr Woking, and is in reasonable health, if a little deaf, according to Ian. (Ian also lives in that area of Woking and sees his father quite often). W A Pope was Captain of North House 1953-54. Interesting some very early pupils are still surviving! All best regards Alan Wakefield. Hon. Associate OSOBS."
