The parade on the forecourt in front of the school entrance, probably Battle of Britain Day <br>This probably occurred on Battle of Britain Day with a visit by a regional official. These faces are familiar, Arthur Foot is visible within the inspecting party, but none of my friends were enrolled. I took the picture probably because I came from an Air Force family, my father had recently finished serving, and though the ATC was a bit of a Dad’s Army outfit, there was a certain nostalgia for the romance of Air Force blue. ©Mike Leggett
