Derek Wyndham Powell Colley

On 20/06/2025 we received the following email:
I regret to inform you that my uncle Derek Wyndham Powell Colley passed away at Peterborough City Hospital on the 3rd June (29/03/34 - 03/06/25) after a fall.
I believe he was Head Boy of the school and active in the Old Boys Society. He will be very much missed by his family.

Derek's funeral will take place at Peterborough Crematorium on Wednesday 9 July at 1.00pm.
Attendees are warmly welcomed to the Lakeside Kitchen and Bar, Nene Park, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU from 2.30pm following the service.

Derek started at Ottershaw in 1948 and between 1950 and 1951 was both School Captain and West House Captain.
He was also a long serving and active member of OSOBS having once served on the committee and attended various society functions over a great many years.
He is mentioned and pictured in many editions of the Gazette and his name also appears numerous times for sporting activities in the early editions of the Ottershaw Weekly News (OWN) .
