Howard T Fry

14/11/23 - We learned this morning that Howard Fry  had died  on 14th August 2023 aged 104.
Howard was one of the first masters at Ottershaw School and taught History from 1948 to 1951,
In 2019 the Society sent him  a special letter to celebrate his 100th Birthday as he was an Honorary member of OSOBS.

Howard had a distinguished career in the RAF as a Spitfire pilot in World War 2 and was subsequently a pilot instructor.

We were pleased to see him attend a lunch at the RAF Club in 2010.
His widow Georgiana Fry will be pleased to hear from members who have memories of schooldays when he was a master.
