Nick Pearson

OT 220 - North

We regret to report the death of Nick Pearson (North House) who passed away quietly in his sleep at the Leicester Royal Infirmary on Thursday, 6th January - he'll be very much missed. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's for a while, and had other medical problems (one problem unknown).  

The school and the OSOBS meant much to him.  He enjoyed coming to OSOBS events, as did I.   Sadly, he was too unwell to attend the late summer meet-up for Tom Weston, but I know he had good memories of this, and other events.  In the manner of AGM dinner 'sick' report, he'd have put his hand up to: one dodgy ticker and one dodgy hip (but no hip replacement).

There will be a church service at 3PM on Friday 11th February at St Mary's in Charnwood, Nanpanton, Loughborough, LE11 3YF followed by a short committal service at Loughborough Crematorium at 4.15. The Chapter House back at St Mary's will be open at 4.30 for a reception. If anyone would like to attend (I realise this is rather long distance for most), please do let me know by email or phone.
