Peter Trevett

On 22/6/2025 we received the following message:

I am not sure who the right contact would be for OSOBS so send to you both since you’ve written to Peter in the past about lunches or events.  I write with the sad news of Peter Trevett passing away on the morning of Saturday 14th June. Please find below details of the funeral and pass on to those with whom you are still in contact. 

It would be great to hear of any anecdotes or stories of Peter’s past if anyone is willing to share those with me before the funeral, so I can include some of them in the eulogy.

Peter said on the day before he passed away that he was ready to go, and he went peacefully, and without a prolonged period of pain or illness.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday the 8th of July at 15:45
Guildford Crematorium New Pond Road, Godalming GU7 3DB

And afterwards at :
The Withies Inn:- Compton Guildford  Surrey GU3 1JA

No flowers,  and donations please to the Royal Surrey Hospital.  This was one of Peter’s charities.

Of course Peter was well known to a great many members and Old Boys as he had served on the committee for many years having been during that time the Chairman, The Treasurer, the Membership Secretary,  the  Society Secretary and  the Gazette editor.
