We were contacted today by Julian Brearley OTT246 who told us the following.

"Just been relayed the sad news that another of our compatriots has left us, Robyn Pitchford OTT231 of East House lost his long and brave fight with cancer a couple of days ago and died peacefully in a hospice near his home and family. I hadn’t seen as much of Robyn as I would have hoped recently, but consider it a great pleasure to have shared a close friendship with him during those formative years at Ottershaw. I’m sure we all send our condolences to his family at this difficult time, and imagine more details will be shared with those of us who would like to offer our respects and share our fond memories of Rob as arrangements are made for his funeral."

We now believe he died in the evening of Sunday 26 October 2025
