Roger Holroyd

OT103 - West

01-08-2024  we learned today from his widow Joan, that  Roger Holroyd OT 103 of West House passsed away early this morning  at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford having been suffering from double pneumonia . He was 87 and at Ottershaw from September 1949 until July 1954 and had been a regular attender at The Surrey Lunches until he dropped out through ill-health.

On 12-08-24  we received details of Roger's funeral from his son, Alan.
It will be held at 11.30am on Monday 2nd September at St. James Church, Westbrook Hill, Elstead GU8 6LQ followed by a family-only burial at a nearby graveyard.
Refreshments will follow at The Woolpack pub on Elstead village green.  Post code GU8 6HD.
