Henry Stapleton

Head of maths from 1968

11/6/19  -  I have to report that Henry Stapleton, head of Maths at Ottershaw School from 1968 till the closure of the school, has died at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey on Sunday morning. As yet we have no death certificate as he was not in hospital for a full day so we cannot register the death, therefore cannot begin to arrange the funeral. He was asleep and breathing gently, and then just stopped breathing. Mercifully so gentle and peaceful. Our younger son is with me helping to sort things out and I will e.mail you as soon as I get to know more, yours faithfully.

14/6/19 - We have been informed that Henry’s funeral will be at, St Lawrence Church, Chobham at 12.00 on Monday, 24 June.  There is no need to bring flowers, and any donations to a charity of your choice.
